ASCENDAS IT PARK (CHENNAI) LTD
Singapore based business space solutions provider, Ascendas, a subsidiary of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) company, Singapore and TIDCO have formed a joint venture company in the name and style of ‘Ascendas IT Park (Chennai) Ltd’ at Taramani to develop an IT Park over an extent of 15 acres and to provide 1.5 million sq.ft. of business space for both IT & ITES units in Chennai.

The first phase of the project is operational from September 2005. The area developed in phase-I is about 5,40,000 sq.ft at a project cost of Rs.130.00 crore . |

The second phase of the project for providing a business space of about 7,30,000 sq.ft. is estimated to cost about Rs.183.33 crore. The construction works for the second phase of the project commenced in August 2005 and expected to be completed by June 2007. |

The third phase of the project for providing a business space of about 6,00,000 sq.ft at an estimated cost of about Rs.167.50 crore is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2007 |
